Sketch Dance Company specialise in bridging the gap between dance and theatre in contemporary form. We design our narratives to move audiences, through cultivating visceral responses that identify honesty within real experiences. Our focus is to explore the socio-cultural impact on community within our work.

'Traces' investigates how trauma sits and travels within the body, looking into how we ease distress to find positivity, harmony and light within the dark. Bringing to the forefront how the past affects the present, the piece explores how our physical framework operates in coexistence with the memories we house. Learning to listen to the body and feel into what it needs. Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out. A layered approach to discovering a complete state of wellness. Suitable for adult and family viewing.
